I got red velvet cake, chocolate cupcake & raspberry bread.... it was very good... I am planning to buy my birthday cake from here Very good Go here ASAP
At my recommendation, the office ordered lunch from here today. Even though the prices have increased slightly from the menus posted, the portion sizes and taste have not been compromised. Everyone was super satisfied with their order. I like to stick with what I know and had the chicken tostadas again, we also ordered Flautas and tacos. We will order from here again. See new menu prices.
My Mexican brother-in-law told me about this place just a couple blocks from where he lives. I grew up in a highly populated mexican community in Los Angeles and have moved here in the east coast for a few years. I have been skeptical of mexican food here because it just doesn't compare in taste, quality, price, etc. I tried out their Carne Asada burrito and was blown away! All the ingredients was fresh right down to the soft tortilla. The steak and rice was seasoned to perfection and i can taste the freshly chopped cilantro, onions and tomatoes. This took me back to my childhood when my first mexican friend invited me to have dinner at his house and I tasted my very first authentic, Mexican Burrito.
Every visit is a treat. The food is tasty, the prices are great and Casa Ofelia is a lovely, warm restaurant with nice staff. The food is made to order so there is a slight wait. However, the wait is worth it. They recently opened a bakery across the street so you don't have to go far for desserts.
Tried it a while ago and thought, ok, but we decided to give it another try and so glad we did. Husband had the Mexican bistec, said very good, i had the green sauce enchiladas and it was delicious. Their beans are amazing! Kids had carnitas and chorizo tacos and they were very good! I called and food was ready when I got there. Nice young man, great customer service. We will be back. Sorry no food pics, we just dug in, food looked amazing! Well I'm back 9/26/19 and the menu seems to have changed. Attaching new pics
Yet another taco place that give other places a run for their money. Great parking on the side, low everyday prices,vegetarian, beef and carnitas all delicious. Great little find in Baldwin.
